HIGH POINT, N.C., November 9, 2022 – JiNan Glasgow George has joined the Access to Innovators Program at High Point University (HPU), the premier life skills university located in North Carolina. The popular program gives students face-to-face mentor relationships and interaction with business leaders and well-established innovators, including Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, Marc Randolph, co-founder of Netflix, Cynt Marshall, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks, and Joe Michaels, director of the NBC Today Show for 22 years. This extraordinary group of innovators is featured on High Point University’s website: https://www.highpoint.edu/accesstoinnovators/
JiNan is thrilled to be a part of this prestigious program, where she supports HPU students with their patents and IP strategies. For over 2 years, she held on-site “office hours” to provide students with experiential learning of meeting with an intellectual property attorney to ask questions and seek input on their ideas and start-ups. High Point University recognized the value to students and the HPU community and invited her formally to join HPU as Intellectual Property Expert in Residence in 2022.
“I’m honored and thrilled to support the university and its students in my role as HPU’s IP Expert in Residence,” JiNan says. “I’m looking forward to the next year to continue offering students the extraordinary experience of creating intellectual property assets directly related to their projects and start-ups.”
JiNan is the founder of Neo IP, a law firm recognized globally for building strategic IP portfolios and advising venture capital funds on investments, acquisitions, and strategic portfolios. She is CEO of Patent Forecast, a software company based in NC, providing insights to investors and executives globally with patent data and visualization.
