Alex is a highly experienced intellectual property (IP) lawyer who for two decades has represented some of the most notable companies and artists in copyright and trademark litigation.

The addition of Alex as a partner and the new outpost in New York will allow O+Z’s nationwide IP litigation practice to continue the impressive growth and client successes the firm has enjoyed over the past several years. “Alex’s extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, his dedication to his clients, and his winning record made him an ideal choice for O+Z, and we’re thrilled to have him join our talented team of experienced attorneys,” said founding partner Scott Zebrak.

“I have long admired the singular focus, deep expertise and remarkable successes O+Z bring to their clients, some of whom we have served together, and I am delighted to join the stellar team the firm has put together over the years,” said Kaplan. “As a partner based in New York, I am committed to bringing my skillset to bear in helping the firm continue its extraordinary winning streak and growth for years to come.”
