Located in one of the world’s leading financial hubs in the Middle East, FINTECH.TV will create premiere content focused on finance, blockchain, sustainable investing, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
NEW YORK- Molinari Media PBC (MM) today announced that seasoned reporter and Sovereign Wealth Fund expert, Rachel Pether, joins FINTECH.TV as a host-based in Abu Dhabi. Ms. Pether will be focused on financial, digital, and sustainability-related topics in the United Arab Emirates and surrounding countries. She will be reporting on a weekly basis contributing to FINTECH.TV’s global coverage.
Molinari Media is a global fintech media and broadcast company that broadcasts from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Studios. MM produces two programs – the Digital Asset Report, which provides a weekly look forward on digital assets, blockchain, innovation, disruption, and legislation/regulation. It also produces TheIMPACT which focuses on ESG investing and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
The shows are hosted by Vince Molinari, Patricia Wu, and Jeff Gitterman in New York. Lawrence Wintermeyer is the lead host in London at the LSEG. Contributors include Dr. Jane Thomason and Georgia Fairweather in Australia, Pratik Gauri in India, and Irene Kiwia in Africa. Troy McGuire is the Chief Content Officer/Executive Producer.
The Abu Dhabi launch further solidifies the momentum of Molinari’s international expansion following its recent announcement of a subsidiary in India and Africa, respectively; in addition to the acquisition of UK-based Fintech Worldwide, the commencement of the production of the Digital Asset Report at the London Stock Exchange Group Studios, and the recent content partnership with Asia Times Financial.
Vince Molinari, Founder, and CEO of Molinari Media PBC says, “From the headquarters of Abu Dhabi Global Market, there is significant news coming out of the region from financial institutions that have a global impact. We are thrilled that Rachel will be joining our team and adding a level of expertise in our reporting from the Middle East.”
Ms. Pether has been in Abu Dhabi since 2008, having originally trained as a journalist in her native New Zealand and then spending six years working for the BBC in the United Kingdom.
Rachel spent almost a decade at Mubadala Investment Company – one of the Middle East’s largest sovereign wealth funds – in their Capital Markets & Treasury team. A CFA Charterholder and chartered treasurer, in 2014 the Association of Corporate Treasurers named her “The One to Watch” in Treasury. Ms. Pether currently acts as a Senior Advisor to SkyBridge Capital, a global investment management firm focused on alternative investments, and also to the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute.
Ms. Pether says, “The Middle East plays an important role in world markets. The United Arab Emirates and other countries in the region continue to pivot and diversify their economies away from oil. These innovations are happening in both the digital asset space and also the sustainability sector, among others. I’m thrilled to be able to share these stories on FINTECH.TV.”
Ms. Pether will begin her weekly reports from Abu Dhabi this month.
